Enable this feature to automatically embed YouTube videos inside posts.

This will replace the images pointing to the videos with an embed script object so that your visitors can view the videos without leaving your site. All you have to do is check the checkbox and you're all set. The images will be replaced with a default object template.

If you need more control over the embedded object, follow these steps:

  1. Download this file, and place it in your FreeAutoBlogger data folder.
    • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\FreeAutoBlogger\YouTubeEmbed.txt
    • Vista: C:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\FreeAutoBlogger\YouTubeEmbed.txt

  2. {VIDEO_ID} Edit the YouTubeEmbed.txt file making sure you have at least one {VIDEO_ID} occurance. When FreeAutoBlogger detects a link to a YouTube video followed by an image tag, it replaces the link with the contents of the text file. (all occurances of {VIDEO_ID} will be replaced with the actual video id). Note that only the link is replaced, the rest of the YouTube post (including description, time, rating etc.) is left unaltered, unless you specify the string below.

  3. {VIDEO_DESCRIPTION} If you include the string {VIDEO_DESCRIPTION} (case-sensitive) in the YouTubeEmbed.txt file, FreeAutoBlogger will replace the entire feed post (except the title) with the contents of the YouTubeEmbed.txt file. It will also replace all occurances of {VIDEO_DESCRIPTION} with the actual video description.
